This morning, the Conference had three working group meetings.
Eight informal consultations were also held. This afternoon an anxiously
awaited document by the Bureau of the Committee of the Whole will be available.
The document will have proposals of language on the topics which
were discussed on Tuesday and Wednesday by over 150 speakers. The
most contentious issues that remain are matters related to jurisdiction
and crimes. The Bureau's proposal will be studied by delegations
over the weekend, and the document will be discussed by the Committee of
the Whole starting Monday. Also this afternoon will be distributed
a compendium of the draft articles which have been referred to the Drafting
Committee by the Committee of the Whole. This will give delegations an
overview of what has been agreed to so far.
