 The Drafting Committee adopted on second reading (A/CONF.183/DC/R.89-91):   article 25 (Responsibility of commanders and other superiors); article 30 (Mistake of fact or mistake of law); and article 31 (Additional grounds for excluding criminal responsibility). The Drafting Committee adopted on first reading (A/CONF.183/DC/R.92 and R.93) article 32 (Superior orders and prescription of law) and article 36 (Service of judges).

25th meeting

 The Drafting Committee adopted on first reading (A/CONF.183/DC/R.94-98): article 39 (The Presidency); article 40 (Chambers); article 42 (Exclusion and disqualification of judges); article 43 (The Office of the Prosecutor); and article 44 (The Registry). The Drafting Committee considered  (A/CONF.183/DC/R.99 and R.100) article 37 (Qualification, nomination and election of judges) and article 38 (Judicial vacancies).

 The Working Group concluded its consideration of Part 3 (General Principles of Criminal Law) of the draft Statute (A/CONF.183/2/Add.1 and Corr.1, A/CONF.183/C.1/WGGP/L.4/Add.1/Rev.1, L.5/Rev.2, and L.11):  article 23 (Individual criminal responsibility) and article 31 (Grounds for excluding criminal responsibility).

The Working Group continued its consideration of Part 7 (Penalties) of the draft Statute:  article 75 (Applicable penalties); article 76 (Penalties applicable to legal persons); article 77 (Determination of the sentence); article 78 (Applicable national legal standards); and article 79 (Fines [and assets] collected by the Court).
