The Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme of the Outreach Division has published the first volume of its Discussion
Papers Journal. The publication, which contains a foreword by Under-Secretary-General Akasaka and nine papers drafted by experts on the Holocaust and genocide, provides a forum for individual scholars representing a variety of cultures and perspectives to raise issues for debate and further study. Avaiable in English and French.
- The Footprints for Hope Project
Around the world, the network of United Nations information centres (UNICs) are invited to join the Footprints for Hope Project, the newest initiative of the Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme, developed in partnership with Paul Salmons, Head of Curriculum Development, Holocaust Education Development Programme, Institute of Education, University of London, and Cornelia Reetz, United Kingdom Holocaust Centre, Nottinghamshire. The video is available on DVD and in all UN official languages (subtitles).
