NOTE ATTRIBUTABLE TO THE SPOKESPERSON OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Dr. Ali Abdussalam Treki has learned with deep sadness, the shocking news of the airplane crash in Pakistan today that resulted in loss of over 150 lives.

On behalf of all Member States and on his own behalf, the President of the General Assembly sends his prayers and condolences to the bereaved family members and the people and Government of Pakistan on this tragedy.
