The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Dr. Ali Abdussalam Treki, is deeply concerned about the situation in Kyrgyzstan where an outbreak of violence in the south has resulted in loss of life and destruction of property.
The President of the General Assembly appeals to all sides to uphold human rights and the rule of law.
The President of the General Assembly calls on the Interim Government of Kyrgyzstan as well as leaders in the region to explore all avenues that would contribute to the peace, stability and reconciliation.
The President of the General Assembly calls on the international community and humanitarian organizations to assist Kyrgyzstan in this time of crisis.
