Human Trafficking
On 21 December 2009, the President of the General Assembly appointed Her Excellency Mr. Jose Filipe Moraes Cabral, Permanent Representative of Portugal, and His. Excellency Mr. Pedro Monteiro Lima, Permanent Representative of Cape Verde to the United Nations, as Co-Facilitators to lead the consultations among Member States on the issue of trafficking in persons.
