DR. YUTO KITAMURA- Nagoya University, Japan
Dr. Kitamura is an associate professor at Nagoya University in Japan and currently a Fulbright Scholar at the George Washington University. He is specialized in education and development and has conducted his research extensively on education issues in developing countries, particularly in South and Southeast Asia.
He worked at UNESCO in Paris as an education specialist and served as an advisor to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). He was a visiting professor at the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh and has been a member of international advisory board at the graduate program in development studies at Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia. He is also a board member of the Relief International, Japan, a humanitarian, non-profit agency.
He graduated from Keio University in Japan and received his M.A. and Ph.D. from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
