Manish Kasliwal (BE, MBA) is a Vice President (APAC Sales) at Sasken Communications Technologies Ltd. Prior to joining Sasken, Manish was responsible for Marketing and Product Operations for Motorola’s Converged Core technology for the Asia Pacific region. Manish spent almost 10 years of his career in the Boston (USA) area before moving to India in the year 2003. During his stay in the US, he was involved with the Jain Center of Greater Boston (JCGB), JAINA and Young Jains of America (YJA). He has made numerous presentations on Tatvartha Sutra and Gunasthanas at Harvard Divinity School, MIT Cambridge, JAINA conventions in Chicago, Toronto and Philadelphia and at other Jain centers across the US.
Manish founded Young Jains of India (YJI) – an NGO and a charitable organization with more than 3000 members all across India -- in the year 2005. Manish is a very dynamic speaker on varied subjects ranging from spiritual and social themes like Peace, Multiplicity of Views, Jain Way of Life, Youth Power to management subjects like Leadership, Time Management and Team Dynamics.
Manish has in the past represented YJI at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Bali conference as a speaker, where he talked about the power of peace using Information Technology and Communication tools. Manish is also one of the key members of UNESCO’s Power of Peace Network (PPN) senior management team. Recently he has also been invited for the Global Peace Initiative for Women (GPIW) forum, to be held in Jaipur India next year.
A father of 2 daughters, Muskaan and Khushi, Manish was married to Kirti in the year 1997. Manish is a native of Indore city in India and has now settled down in Mumbai.
