3 February 2003 - The General Assembly President Jan Kavan met H.E. Mr. Mircea Dan Geoana, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania. The chief of Romanian diplomacy discussed with Jan Kavan the situation in Iraq as well as Romania's participation in Afghanistan. Also discussed were the UN actions in conflict prevention and activities in the field of post-conflict reconstruction.
