Jan Kavan meets Anwarul Karim Chowdhury, UN High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States. 3 October - Mr. Chowdhury informed President Kavan about the work of his office, which was created in December 2001, in particular activities in Africa which contains the largest number of least developed and landlocked developing countries. Also discussed was the possibility of integrating topics, now discussed in different forums, in order to streamline the work of the General Assembly.
