Assembly plenary meeting continued today

In the morning, the plenary continued its discussion on the item on Africa. The consideration of this item is expected to conclude with action on draft resolution A/56/L.28.
This afternoon, the Second Committee is expected to take action on 18 draft resolutions including one on the sovereignty over natural resources in occupied Palestinian territory and in the Syrian Golan.
