President
attends “Interfaith Services” at St. Bartholomew’s Church; presides over
the General Assembly (Plenary Session); meets with UNV Executive Coordinator

Dr. Han attended and spoke at “Interfaith Services” at St. Bartholomew’s Church in the morning.
Dr. Han hosted a luncheon for the President of the 55th Session of the General Assembly, H. E. Mr. Harri Holkeri.
In the afternoon, Dr. Han presided over the second plenary meeting of the General Assembly, which elected the chairpersons of the main committees, and 21 Vice-Presidents of the General Assembly.
Later, Dr. Han met with the Executive Coordinator of United Nations Volunteers, Ms. Sharon Capeling-Alakija, and discussed the organization of an event celebrating the International Year of Volunteers in the General Assembly Hall scheduled for 5 December 2001.
