The President of the General Assembly was shocked to learn of the deaths of
King Birenda Bir Bikram Shah Dev and Queen Aishworya Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah of
Nepal on 1 June and King Dipendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev of Nepal on 4 June, as
well as other members of the royal family.
The President extends his deep condolences to the people and Government of Nepal during the aftermath of this tragedy.
