The President met with Right Honourable Mr. Menzies Campbell, Principal spokesperson for the British Liberal democrats.They discussed the follow up to the Millennium Summit and the Brahimi report as well as imporving the efficiency of the General Assembly.

The President was the guest of honour in a luncheon, hosted by H.E. Mr. Sergio Vento, Permanent Representative of Italy.
