The President today met with the two vice-chairpersons of the Open-ended Working Group (OEWG) on Security Council Reform, H.E. Ambassador Mr. John de Saram of Sri Lanka and Ambassador Thorsteinn Ingólfsson of Iceland. The meeting was held with a view to preparing for the first substantive meeting of the OEWG this session on 12 to 16 March.

Earlier the President presided over continuing discussion devoted to the report of the Secretary-General on HIV/AIDS.
