The President today met with the two vice-chairpersons of the open-ended working group on Security Council reform, Ambassador Ingolfsson of Iceland and Ambassador de Saram of Sri Lanka. During the meeting, the Bureau continued its preparatory work for the June session of the working group.

Mr. Holkeri attended a reception hosted by the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the United Nations with music performed by the "Rachmaninov Trio".

Later in the day the President atteded a dinner hosted by H.E. Ms. Marjatta Rasi, Permanent Representative of Finland.
