Mr. Holkeri presided over Plenary Meeting's discussion of the report of the Security Council.

He met with the chairpersons of the Non-Aligned Movement and the Arab Group as well as Ambassador Al-Kidwa, Permanent Observer of Palestine to the UN, to discuss the resumption of the 10th Emergency Special Session of the General Assembly on the issue "Illegal Israeli actions in occupied East Jerusalem and the rest the Occupied Palestinian Territory".

The President participated in the dedication ceremony and reception of the Scandinavia House after attending a private viewing of the house. Earlier Mr. Holkeri attended a VIP luncheon, hosted by the American-Sacndinavian Foundation.
