The General Assembly today met to take up two resolutions with Mr. Holkeri presiding over its meeting. The Assembly adopted a resolution on the Report of the International Atomic Energy Agency. The Assembly also decided to include an additional item on its agenda concerning Elections of Judges for the International Criminal Tribunal of Rwanda.

The President presided over the sixth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group on the Security Council reform. The Working Group today continued the discussion on the issue of veto. Today's meeting concluded the series of meetings of the Working Group at this stage. The Group will be holding a new series of meeting in early May.

Mr. Holkeri attended to a luncheon hosted by H.E. Ms. Marjatta Rasi, Permanent Representative of Finland, in connection to the Seminar on the Åland Islands, which was held yesterday.
