Mr. Holkeri continued presiding over the General Debate for the second day hearing statements from the Foreign Ministers or other representatives of Saint Kitts and Nevis, China, Italy, Kuwait, Estonia, Trinidad and Tobago, Morocco, Peru, Croatia, Belgium, South Africa, Japan, Egypt, Viet Nam, Barbados, Mexico, Denmark, Burkina Faso, Mauritania and Guinea-Bissau.

The President discussed a number of issues during his meeting with the Vice-Premier Minister and Minister of Foreign affairs of Luxembourg, Mrs. Lydia Polfer.

The President met also with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Prof. Wladyslaw Bartoszewski. A wide range of issues was discussed.
