The Committee concluded its work for the second resumed part of the sixty-third session at its 55th formal meeting on 25 June 2009.

The General Assembly considered the recommendations presented by the Committee on Tuesday, 30 June 2009. The decisions are available on the Resolutions and Decisions section of the website.

The bureau for the 64th session of the General Assembly were elected at the 54th formal meeting of the Fifth Committee on 10 June 2009 (held during the 87th Plenary meeting of the General Assembly).
