On 1 June, UNAIDS Executive Director Peter Piot (far right, at podium) addresses participants at the breakfast meeting ‘Making Universal Access Work for Children’, at UNHQ. The meeting, organized by UNICEF, UNAIDS, UNESCO, UNFPA and WFP brought together representatives from Member States, UN organizations and civil society, observers and other guests to discuss universal access to HIV treatment for children, in the context of the ‘Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS’ global campaign.
