On 30 May, on the eve of the High-Level Meeting on AIDS, UNAIDS Special Representative Naomi Watts (centre) is among the UN staff members holding open red umbrellas to form a large AIDS ribbon in the North Garden at UNHQ. The red ribbon is the universal symbol of AIDS awareness. Ms. Watts is wearing a red T-shirt with the slogan "Uniting the world against AIDS."
