On 30 May, on the eve of the High-Level Meeting on AIDS, UNAIDS Special Representative Mary Fisher addresses UN staff members in the North Garden at UNHQ. Ms. Fisher, who is wearing a red T-shirt with the slogan "Uniting the world against AIDS", was among the UN staff members holding open red umbrellas to form a large AIDS ribbon in the Garden. The red ribbon is the universal symbol of AIDS awareness.
