Presentation of Youth for Habitat International Network
Keynote speeches
Presentation of the progress report of the Youth for Habitat
International Network (all members will be asked to send
their respective reports on the implementation of the Habitat
Agenda in advance)
Afternoon session:
Presentation of good practices (all members will be invited
to hold brief presentations)

Expected Participants:
Approximately 100 Youth representatives from the Youth
for Habitat International Network and National delagations.
Aims and objectives:

To
provide youth input to the Special Session
-
To
appraise and evaluate youth works and youth contributions
in the implementation of the Habitat Agenda
-
To define problems faced by youth organisations in the
implementation of the Habitat Agenda
-
To
share experiences of various of youth organisations
from all over the world
-
To
provide new modalities for further implementation of
the Habitat Agenda
-
To
strenghten Youth for Habitat International Network and
focal points for more efficient information flow and
for developing partnership among youth organisations
Activities:

Keynote
speeches
-
Workshops
for discussing above mentioned issues - streghtening
of the Network, appraisal of youth works so far and
the problems faced by youth organisations in relation
to the implementation of the Habitat Agenda.

Revitalisation
of Youth for Habitat International Network · Development
of new approaches and modalities for further implementation
of the Habitat Agenda and to overcome problems faced
by youth organisations

for their future initiatives
