This morning, the informal sessions of the high-level dialogue on globalization continue. At present, the ministerial-level roundtable on national responses to the economic and social impact of globalization is in progress in conference room 2, with another roundtable, on international responses, scheduled for this afternoon. The closing plenary meeting will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the General Assmebly Hall. The Assmebly will hear the remaining six speakers in the high level dialogue -- that is in addition to the 35 it heard yesterday). The President's closing remarks will come out as a press release, and later as an official GA document.

The list of speakers for Monday is available on the side table, and later also in Room 378. Later this afternoon, you will find on the racks the notes to correspondents regarding the visits of Heads of State scheduled for Monday. With regard to the question asked yesterday, so far, 181 speakers have been inscribed to address the Assembly during the general debate -- the list of speakers will be open until 23 September.

26 Heads of State will address the Assembly, 2 Crown Princes, one Vice-President, 19 Prime Ministers; 2 Deputy Prime ministers,12 Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers of Foreign Affairs, 109 Foreign Ministers, etc. I am also pleased to inform you that the speeches in the plenary will be webcast live on the General Assmebly home page on the UN website on the Internet and will also be archived for later reference, by meeting and by country. In addition, the update no. 5 of the list of speakers for the general debate has been posted on the GA home page on the UN website.
