Une dizaine d'observateurs de la Mission civile internationale de 1'Organisation des Etats Américains et de l'Organisation des Nations Unies sont rentrés hier à Port-auPrince. Ils reprendront leur travail pour s' assurer du respect des droits humains.

Dans les prochains jours, une vingtaine d'observateurs supplémentaires se joindront à eux. Le travail de la MICIVIH sera limité dans un premier temps à Port-au-Prince.

Toutes les autorités compétentes ont été informées de ce mouvement de personnel de la Mission civile internationale OEA-ONU.

(Ten observers of the International Civilian Mission of the Organisation of American States and the Organisation of the United Nations came back to Port-au-Prince yesterday. They will start their work anew to ensure the respect of human rights.

In the next few days, twenty additional observers will join them. The work of MICIVIH will be limited at first to Port-au-Prince.

All the competent authorities heve been informed of this movement of personnel of the OAS/UN International Civilian Mission.)
