Workshop on consultative relationships between the Economic
and Social Council and non-governmental organizations
A workshop for non-governmental organizations will be held on 9, 10, 11 and 12 August at 2.30 p.m. in the NGO Lounge. The Chief of the NGO Section of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations Secretariat will discuss such matters as how to apply for consultative status, formal rights and arrangements for participation of NGOs in consultative status, and the responsibilities that come with such status.
