In 1993, the World Conference on Human Rights declared a new global consensus on the universality and indivisibility of all human rights, the interdependence of democracy, development and human rights, and the crucial role of key institutions in furthering the human rights agenda. Ten years later, OHCHR assembles a panel of experts to take stock of progress, identify new challenges, and examine developments from the perspective of the full range of institutions and issues highlighted at Vienna.
