Event Name: Human Rights Council
Event Description: At its 22nd regular session, the Human Rights Council will consider the annual report of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, along with other reports on the situation of human rights in Mali, Syria, Iran, Myanmar, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and the Occupied Palestinian Territory. The Council will also hold panel discussions on the rights of the child, persons with disabilities, and the 20th anniversary of the Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action. Senior Government officials are scheduled to address the Council during a high-level segment.
