Event Name: International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust
Event Description: The theme for next year’s commemoration will be “Rescue during the Holocaust: the Courage to Care.” It aims to recognise individuals who risked their lives to save Jews and other victims of Nazi persecution during the Second World War.

Activities: In New York, the memorial ceremony will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on 25 January 2013 in the General Assembly Hall and will be webcast live for UNICs.
