Event Name: Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the Law of the Sea
Event Description: The Secretary-General will participate in an international conference "Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the Opening for Signature of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea" in the Republic of Korea.
UN Sponsor: Department of Public Information (DPI)
Activities: The conference is co-sponsored by the Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea, Office of Legal Affairs; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea; and the Korea Maritime Institute, in cooperation with the Organizing Committee for the Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea.
