A multimedia exhibit created by
the New York base-Korean artist Ik-Joong Kang, opened in
September, 2001 in the visitor's lobby of
the United Nations in New York. The three-walled
installation includes about 34,000 children's drawings from over 134 countries
depicting
the hopes and dreams of children for the future. The monumental installation
is sponsored
by the Republic of Korea and UNICEF and will be on view until May, 2002 when
the
General Assembly will be holding its Special Session on Children >>>
