Workshop on Climate Change and Sustainable
Development: A Workshop to Strengthen Research and
Understanding (7-8 April 2007, New Delhi)
The workshop on Climate Change
and Sustainable Development
explored the linkages between climate change and sustainable
development. The workshop was organized by Department of Economic and
Social Affairs and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), with the
support of the Government of India.
The workshop aimed to identify gaps in the understanding of the linkages
between climate change and sustainable development, examine and discuss
analytical tools to improve the understanding of the link between
climate change and sustainable development, and assist countries to
integrate adaptation and mitigation strategies and policies into
national sustainable development plans and strategies.
