Energy: UNDESA-e7 Workshops on CDM and Electricity Project Development

The Energy and Transport Branch of UN DESA and the e7, a group of major electric utilities from G7 countries, held a pair of two-day CDM capacity-building workshops in Ecuador and Nicaragua in September 2004. The workshops focused on the status of the carbon market, project development requirements for CDM, and project experience in renewable energy within the region. The Environment Ministries in both countries hosted and supported the workshops.
