Natural Resources Forum: A United Nations Sustainable Development Journal
The Natural
Resources Forum, a quarterly journal launched in
1976, is issued by the Division for Sustainable
Development in the United Nations Department of
Economic and Social Affairs. The focus of the
Forum has evolved over the years from technical
issues of extraction, development and efficient
exploitation of resources, to international,
multidisciplinary issues related to sustainable
development and management of natural resources,
particularly in developing countries and
countries in transition.
Original
contributions that stimulate the global debate
on themes being considered by the UN Commission
on Sustainable Development (CSD) are especially
encouraged. All articles submitted for
publication are peer-reviewed by experts in the
field.
FREE Access: Virtual Issue on Climate Change
The Natural Resources Forum announces a
FREE Virtual Issue on Climate Change which
has been developed in an effort to contribute to
the intense public debate that surrounds this
global challenge.

Selected comments will appear alongside other
thoughtful responses in the journal. We are currently welcoming contributions to the following Viewpoints questions:

(November 2008 issue)
