The sixth session of
the CSD included a separate "industry segment" held on 21 and 22 April 1998, to
provide an interactive dialogue on industry and sustainable
development between the representatives of Governments, industry,
trade unions, non-governmental organizations, other major groups and
international organizations. Four
themes were discussed:
- Responsible entrepreneurship
- Corporate management tools
- Technology cooperation and assessment
- Industry and freshwater
