Regional Meetings

Europe

A number of regional and sub-regional meetings have been held in Europe. The first meeting was a sub-regional workshop on sustainable consumption and production that was held in Vilnius, Lithuania from 17-18 June 2004. The meeting resulted in a report with recommendations for future action within the sub-region.

 A European stakeholder Meeting on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) was held in Ostend, Belgium, 25-26 November 2004. The meeting produced a report that highlights the key challenges for the region and makes policy recommendations.

The third meeting was the European Conference under the Marrakech Process on Sustainable Consumption and Production held in Berlin, Germany from 13-14 December 2005 (report).
