The discussions would focus, inter-alia, on the following:

When and How to schedule consideration of these
issues in the coming years

Two-year cycle: "Review" Year and
"Policy" Years

Transformation of CSD Inter-sessional Working
Groups in to Regional/Global Implementation Forums and Expert Forums

Timing of CSD "main" and "inter-sessional"
meetings

3. Enhancing contributions from and participation of various implementation
actors
The discussions would focus, inter-alia, on the following issues:

Programmes, Agencies, Organisations and
International Financial Institutions of the UN system

Regional Institutions
-
Major Groups
-
Scientific contributions
-
Educators
4. Role of CSD as a "focal point" for partnerships
The discussions would focus, inter-alia, on the following issues:

Creating a transparent, participatory and credible
reporting and monitoring mechanism on the partnerships, including
guidelines;

How to ensure that partnerships are closely
linked to the implementation of the POI;
-
How to facilitate the implementation of
partnerships and foster new ones.

Note: The discussions should not be seen as limited solely to specific issues
listed above. Any additional issues and ideas relevant to the CSD's future
programme, methods and organisation of work would be welcomed
