Integration of social and economic policy

At its fortieth session, the Commission for Social Development
considered two topics under its agenda and multi-year programme of work,
namely the priority theme “Integration of social and economic
policy"; and the review of relevant United Nations plans and
programmes of action pertaining to the situation of social groups.
The Commission adopted a set
of agreed conclusions on the priority theme that contain analysis
and recommendations for action to promote the integration of social
and economic policy at the national and international level.
The Commission for Social Development also
adopted a decision on the working methods of the Commission.
