The Commission on Population and Development will hold its forty-sixth session from 22 to 26 April 2013 at United Nations Headquarters in New York. The theme of the session is "New Trends in Migration: Demographic Aspects". Documents for the Commission’s session are posted on the web site of the Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs, www.unpopulation.org.

Kindly also note that due to the space constraints of the temporary conference facilities, a maximum of 10 representatives of each organization is permitted. As there is great interest both among governments and civil society in participating in the forty-sixth session of the Commission on Population and Development, and because only one conference room is available for its meetings, please be advised that not all representatives of an organization may find seats in the conference room, especially at peak attendance periods.

Please note: Pre-registration will close on Friday 5 April 2013.
