UNFF Sessions
Side Events at UNFF
Side events are an important part UNFF meetings, they complement the official inter-governmental sessions and provide an opportunity to share information and experiences.
UNFF8: If are interested in organising a side event at UNFF8, please refer to the UNFF 8 Side Event Guidelines and use the UNFF8 Side Events Request Form to submit your request. The deadline for UNFF8 Side Event Requests is 10 March 2009.

Translation/interpretation
services are not provided for side events.
Laptops
Computers: The Secretariat cannot provide laptop computers. Event organizers are expected
to bring their own laptop computers. Kindly ensure your laptop
computer has a VGA plug. In addition, please ensure that your laptop computer has a DVD drive with audio capabilities in case
you intend to show a video using the laptop computer.
Payment:
Organizers of side events are required to pay for equipment and services for their side
event prior to the event. Payments must be made
the United Nations either in cash or in the form of a check payable in US$
drawn on a US Bank. Please refer to your invoice
for payment details. Once payment is made, the payment receipt should
be submitted to the Special Events Unit room S-2170 in
the Secretariat Building.
Conditions:
All side events are subject to change
and/or cancellations without prior notice. Kindly check
the UN Daily Journal for a schedule of the day's events. Cancellations on the part of organizers must be
sent to the UNFF Secretariat in writing no later than 3 days prior to the scheduled
side event in order to avoid charges.
Grounds
Passes: It is the
responsibility of the organizers of side events to
arrange the access/grounds passes for their panelists/participants.
