Integrating Forests in the post-2015 development agenda
At the tenth session of UNFF (UNFF10), Member States requested the UNFF Secretariat and invited other member organizations of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests (CPF) to promote the message of the importance of forests in the implementation of the outcome of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development and the United Nations development agenda beyond 2015/post-2015 development agenda.

OWG on SDGs
On Sept. 11 2014 the UN General Assembly decided that that the proposal on SDGs as contained in Report of the Open Working Group of the General Assembly on Sustainable Development Goals [Arabic | Chinese | English | French | Russian | Spanish, shall be the main basis for integrating sustainable development goals into the post-2015 development agenda, while recognizing that other inputs will also be considered in this intergovernmental negotiation process at the sixty-ninth session of the General Assembly.
During 2013-2014, the UNFF Secretariat worked closely with other CPF member organizations to promote the importance of forests for sustainable development and support the integration of forests in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
