Regional Commissions

Regional meetings in preparation of the Follow-up International Conference on Financing for Development to Review the Implementation of the Monterrey Consensus

The General Assembly, in its resolution 62/187 of 19 December 2007, called upon regional commissions, with the support of regional development banks and other relevant entities, to hold regional consultations, as appropriate, during the first half of 2008, which would serve to provide inputs to the preparations for the Review Conference to be held in Doha, Qatar, from 29 November to 2 December 2008.
