High-level dialogue for the implementation of the outcome of the International Conference on Financing for Development

The President of the General Assembly declared open the High-level Dialogue on Financing for Development.

The President made a statement.

The Secretary-General made a statement.

The President of the Economic and Social Council made a statement.

The General Assembly decided to close the list of speakers for this High-level Dialogue.

The General Assembly also decided, without setting a precedent, to hear statements by representatives of the organizations of the United Nations system.

In accordance with this decision, statements were made by Mr. Danny Leipziger, Vice-President and Head of Network, Poverty Reduction and Economic Management of the World Bank; Mr. Murilo Portugal, Deputy Managing Director of the International
Monetary Fund; Ms. Valentine Sendanyoye-rugwabiza, Deputy Director-General of the World Trade Organization; Mr. Cheick Sidi Diarra, Special Representative of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development at the United Nations Headquarters; and Mr. Ad Melkert, Associate Administrator of the United Nations Development
Programme.
