Follow-up to and implementation of the outcome of the International Conference on Financing for Development [84]: High-level Dialogue of the General Assembly on Financing for Development:

  6. The General Assembly continued its High-level Dialogue on Financing for Development.

Statements were made by the representatives of Spain, Bulgaria, Nicaragua, Serbia and Montenegro, Croatia, Ghana, Paraguay, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (on behalf of the Landlocked Developing Countries), Chile, China, Brazil, the Russian Federation, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Morocco, the Republic of Korea, the Syrian Arab Republic, El Salvador, Romania, Djibouti and Pakistan.

In accordance with General Assembly resolution 3208 of 11 October 1974, the observer of the European Community made a statement.

The General Assembly continued its High-level Dialogue on Financing for Development.

Statements were made by the representatives of Kazakhstan, Thailand, Switzerland, Canada, Zambia, Algeria, Ethiopia, Uganda, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Fiji and the Netherlands.

The observer for Palestine made a statement.

In accordance with General Assembly resolution 57/32 of 19 November 2002, the observer for the Inter-Parliamentary Union made a statement.

In accordance with General Assembly resolution 49/2 of 19 October 1994, the observer for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies made a statement.

In accordance with General Assembly resolution 31/3 of 18 October 1976, the observer for the Commonwealth Secretariat made a statement.
