Fact sheets received from UN Agency Partners:
As part of the preparation for Earth Summit +5, the CSD Secretariat requested the UN Agency
Partners to provide brief information on their activities to implement Agenda 21. The information
received is presented in the form of Fact Sheets .
Each Fact Sheet describes a major UN Agency programme in sustainable development, demonstrating
the extent of international cooperation and commitment to Agenda 21 objectives. The text has been
kept as close to the originals as possible. Comments and additional Fact Sheets are welcome.
