Side Events

Side events sponsored by Governments, Major Groups, UN agencies and other international organizations have already established place at the sidelines of the official meetings of CSD. The side events provide an informal opportunity for broader exchange of information, experience and diverse views.

At CSD-19, more than 50 side events related to the current thematic cluster will be organized during the lunch and evening breaks (1:15 – 2:45 PM and 6:15 – 7:45 PM). The side events will take place in the conference rooms located in the North Lawn Building of the UN Headquarters complex."
