New York

In-session Activities

Learning Center

the learning center photographThe Learning Centre is part of the official programme of the Commission on Sustainable Development and runs parallel to the CSD plenary sessions. It is intended to educate on various facets of sustainable development at a practical level, enabling CSD participants to implement Agenda 21, the Johannesburg Plan of Implementation (JPOI) and other action frameworks in their countries. Course instructors will use a wide range of instructional tools and approaches, including small working groups, case studies and lecture formats. Most courses include question and answer periods and interactive discussions.
