At the first and fourth meetings, on 18 and 19 April, the Commission elected, by acclamation

  • Chair: Mr. Rumen Gechev (Bulgaria);
  • Vice-Chairs:
    • Mr. Enrique Provencio (Mexico);
    • Mr. Paul de Jongh (Netherlands);
    • Mr. Adam Vai Delaney (Papua New Guinea) - who was also elected to serve as Rapporteur;
    • Mr. Daudi Ngelautwa Mwakawago (United Republic of Tanzania).
