Scope

Projects are aimed at capacity building, particularly through regional and interregional economic and technological cooperation among developing countries.

Projects are executed by entities of the Executive Committee on Economic and Social Affairs. The Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs acts as Programme Manager of the Account.
